The vessel will be ready in the first half of 2013. The contract for the vessel’s design, construction and delivery was signed on 20 December 2010. The Artemis is a sister vessel to the Athena, which was delivered at the end of 2011. Since Van Oord took receipt of the Athena, it has deployed the large cutter suction dredger successfully on various projects.
