Volvo Penta´s marine drive system IPS has been awarded Best Innovation 2012 by the International Powerboat Association (UIM). The Inboard Performance System (IPS) by Volvo Penta is a pod system for leisure boats and with more than 15,000 units delivered since the introduction in 2005, the IPS system is the undisputed world market leader in the pod segment .
