"I work with some of the greatest engineering managers in the world, so I am very humbled by this award," said Boykin, who joined NNS in 1987 and is responsible for all ship design, planning yard and topside construction and test engineering. Prior to being named to her current position earlier this year, Boykin served as vice president of quality, engineering services and process excellence and was responsible for the formulation, management and oversight of NNS' quality and process excellence programs, policies, goals and objectives.
