Krishnapatnam Port claims world record for discharging 122,247 MT's of coal from ship in 24 hrs using conventional cranes. The cargo was discharged from the MV Cohiba which had 161,980 MT of US Coal on account of JSW Steels Limited. The remaining 39,733 MT of coal was due to be dishcarged the following day by the saime mobile harbor cranes.
