In an ongoing effort to develop the fastest and most efficient response to emergency situations, the United States Coast Guard contracts with Houston-based Advanced Web Site Publishing (AWSP) to establish a technological birds eye view of performance during an emergency response situation - establishing a first of its kind interactive, online response Flash movie. This newly developed “flash movie,” accessible from the US Coast Guard Website, incorporates pages of Hurricane Katrina path charting, time lines, and the movement of multiple Coast Guard helicopters dispatched from stations across the United States during the disaster in an interactive overview – complete with pause and replay features.
