Mitsui Engineering & Shipbuilding Co., Ltd. completed and delivered a 56,000 dwt type bulk carrier M.V. Windsor Adventure (MES Hull NO. 1666) at its Tamano Works on March 26, 2008 to Keymax Maritime Co. Ltd./Fairmont Shipping. This is the 72 ship of the “Mitsui 56” Series, a series which feature cargo hold space in excess of 70,000 cu. In total, more than 130 units of this series have been ordered to MES. According to the shipbuilder, the vessel has larger cargo hold capacity (of 70,700 cu. m.) and deadweight (of 56,000 tons) than conventional handy-max type bulk carriers. It has five (5) cargo holds and four (4) cranes for handling cargo.
