The Lebanese American University has awarded an honorary Doctorate Degree in Humane Letters to Jacques R. Saadé, in recognition of his achievements as a great business leader. The conferment of the Honor took place during the commencement ceremony at the LAU Campus on Tuesday July 8th in front of 1500 people, including 500 students and members of the Government. In his acceptance speech, Jacques Saadé talked about his beginnings in the world of shipping.
