Gas Cargo Handling Simulator. The highly advanced simulator will be the first of its kind and will feature two ship models – one LPG tanker and one LNG tanker. The installation will feature extensive instructor facilities located in a separate room and fitted with monitoring, control and recording equipment. From here a student evaluation system will be implemented, allowing instructors to introduce fault sequences, malfunctions and actions in order to build relevant scenarios and objectively assess student competence.
