Port Hedland Continues to Forge Ties with Vietnam

Vietnam Maritime University and GL Sign Cooperation Agreement

An collaboration on engineering training, including practical training courses, has been agreed between classification society Germanischer Lloyd and Vietnam Maritime University (VIMARU). The cooperation was signed during VietShip 2008 trade fair by DSc. Dang Van Uy, Headmaster of VIMARU, Dr. at GL, and Hans-Ulrich Schulze, Director of GL Academy. Germanischer Lloyd will provide two awards for outstanding academic performance to two best students of the VIMARU, a Naval Architect and a Marine Engineer, each year during the Graduation Ceremony.
