Remontowa Shipbuilding says it is the largest production shipyard in Poland, and the only one with extensive experience in the construction of ecological, gas powered ferries. During last five years they have built eight gas powered ferries to serve local car – passenger transportation on the Norwegian coast. In contrast to previously delivered ferries fuelled by diesel or gas power, this one will be powered only by LNG and emergency CNG gas engines.
