Update on Stricken Ship Hoegh Osaka

The stricken ship Hoegh Osaka continues to be stable and the salvors ongoing ballasting operations have now reduced the list to 48 degrees. The divers yesterday successfully carried out a limited inspection of the Hoegh Osaka’s hull. This inspection indicated that there is no significant damage. The operation to pump water from the vessel’s lower car deck started at 11am today.

POSL Kent at A&P Falmouth

A&P Falmouth has recently completed repairs onboard the P&O Stena Line passenger/car ferry vessel, POSL Kent. The vessel arrived on the evening of the 23rd December 2001 and dry docked on arrival into No. 2 dock, work started on the 24th December and was carried out during the holiday period with only a short break for Christmas and New Years Day. During the docking period, work was carried out on both the starboard and port stabilisers.
