A&P Tyneside Secure Tanker Contracts

A&P Tyne has been very successful recently in securing general repair work on a number of Tankers, these include the 16,137 dwt Clipper Skagen (for Solvang ASA, Norway) and 3,261 dwt Lanrick (for George Gibson, Edinburgh) both of which are currently under repair and the 4,630 dwt Cervantes (for Gasnaval, Spain) is expected shortly. The ship yard also has a number of other Tankers stemmed which are all scheduled to dry dock in the near future. The Clipper Skagen arrived for a scheduled dry docking and upgrading and remained at the yard for 14 days, during which she underwent hull shrouded-grit blast preparation and painting work, including the removal and re-application of coatings all in accordance with the latest environmental regulations.
