Rollie Webb, Senior Vice President at Robert Allan Ltd., was presented with the SS Beaver Medal for Maritime Excellence by the Lt. Governor of B.C. Judith Guichon on behalf of the Maritime Museum of British Columbia in a ceremony held on November 9 in Victoria. Effective April 2, BC Ferries will become a new, independent company called British Columbia Ferry Services Inc. Transportation Minister Judith Reid, community leaders, BC Ferries officials, and retired captains will celebrate the launch of the new company at the Maritime Museum of British Columbia.
