Moore Delivers Vessel to Ocean City Fire Dept.

Moore Boat said it delivered an all new aluminum Moore Fire 32 to the Ocean City Fire Department after the completion of various sea trials. The Moore Fire 32 is unique in its ability to respond to rescue and/or fire in areas normally deemed unnavigable to traditional fire boats, the builder said. The vessel has been purpose built for its intended area of response here in the Ocean City area. The Moore Fire 32 is the first of a new series of fire boats from Moore Boat. It utilizes the patented hull form that and has a LOA of 32’ and a beam of 12’. It is powered by twin 350 HP diesel engines turning jets which also serve as the source for the fire system, an industry first for a twin jet application.
