Furuno Introduces New High Power NAVNET Pair

Furuno added to its extremely popular NavNet series of Radar/Chart Plotters, the 1953C & 1953C/NT. Designed for all types of vessels, the 1953C series bundles high-power X-band radar performance with the latest NavNet technology. Built to commercial-grade standards for rugged reliability, the 1953C is a 12kW Radar with a 1/8 to 72 n.m. range. It is available with either a 4 or 6 ft. open array antenna. This unit presents true color radar images on a high-resolution 10.4-in. color LCD, housed in a rugged and waterproof case. All of the NavNet color displays are able to show true color radar targets, which allows the user to determine the strength of the echoes by the different colors.

The 1953C offers many standard radar features, including an Electronic Bearing Line (EBL), an Electronic Variable Range Marker (EVRM), Echo Trails, Guard Zone Alarm, Off-Center, Target Zoom, and Watch Modes.
