Incat Crowther to Design Multi-purpose Dive Support Vessel

Incat Crowther contracted to design a 56m Catamaran Dive Support Vessel (DSV) for Bhagwan Marine, for operation by dive specialists Neptune Marine Services. The vessel has been designed from the keel up to perform six key roles; Dive Support, Geophysical Survey, Geotechnical Survey, Cargo Transport, Hyperbaric Rescue and Safety Standby. With such a varied array of operational roles, unique solutions were required not only in the allocation of spaces, but also with the specification of a flexible, high-redundancy propulsion system.

Offshore Positioning Contract for VERIPOS

VERIPOS, wins a three-year contract from Neptune Marine Services (NMS) of Perth, Western Australia for its GPS augmentation service. The contract, which represents a continuation of a long-standing working relationship between the two companies, covers the provision of VERIPOS’s  Standard GPS augmentation service in addition to its Ultra and Apex2 precise point positioning facilities, the latter using both GPS and Glonass constellations. All three services will in turn be supported by VERIPOS’s Verify QC processing software for real-time and post-processing assessments of data. Neptune, one of Australia’s leading subsea engineering organisations, has additional bases in South East Asia, the Middle East and Europe.

The Return of U.S. Underwater Services

Benford Capital Partners LLC and Coppermine Capital LLC  acquired the assets of Neptune Underwater Services (USA) LLC, the U.S. diving business of Neptune Marine Services Limited (“Neptune”), in a newly-formed entity, called U.S. Benford Capital and Coppermine, in partnership with the Company’s management team, are acquiring the business for the second time, after selling it to Neptune in 2007. The name U.S. Underwater Services, the Company’s brand prior to Neptune’s involvement, was chosen to capitalize on its t reputation for quality, service and reliability. Based in Mansfield, Texas, and operating out of a 50,000 square-foot facility, U.S.

Neptune Wins $20M Contract with Qatargas

According to a Dec. 30 report from Business Day, Neptune Marine Services Ltd has been awarded a $20m subsea inspection contract from producers of liquefied natural gas Qatargas Operating Company Ltd. The three-year contract involves the inspection of Qatargas platforms, offshore pipelines and subsea connection facilities in the Arabian Gulf. (Source: Business Day)
