During the maritime Neva exhibition, taking place this week in St Petersburg, Russia, a number of agreements were signed promoting use of advanced IT solutions and enhancement of professional training within the maritime industry. Admiral S. O. Makarov State University of Sea and River Fleet, classification society Russian Maritime Register of Shipping (RS), Petrobalt Design Office and the Dutch company Numeriek Centrum Groningen (NCG) signed a quadripartite agreement on the establishment of NUPAS-CADMATIC Training and Innovation Center.
