Ulstein Verft Launches CSOV Olympic Boreas

Norwegian shipbuilder Ulstein Verft on Saturday launched the new Olympic construction service operation vessel (CSOV), Olympic Boreas.The newbuild is first of two sister vessels for Olympic, designed to assist in offshore energy construction projects and service assignments.The launch saw the vessel towed out the dock hall and moored quayside for outfitting work."The general outfitting work, which consists of accommodation work, electrical installations, piping and mechanical installations, to name a few, is well underway.

Braemar Adjusting Makes Several New Appointments

Braemar Adjusting continues its global expansion with the addition of one director in London, two directors in Houston and an energy adjuster in Singapore. Ian McInroy re-joins Braemar’s London office as a Director in October 2013 from a leading international insurance broking and consultancy group, where his primary responsibilities were to design risk transfer programs for offshore energy construction projects and advise clients on the terms and conditions of their energy contracts.
