Abanaki Corp. Oil Separation Division, offers three oil concentrators that complement most Abanaki oil skimmers. These optional decanters provide an effective second oil/water separation step after initial skimming - assuring virtually 100 percent pure oil and water output.
Mounted at the discharge end of the oil skimmer support channel, the concentrator receives liquid directly from the skimmer. A sludge screen, easily removed for cleaning, prevents solids from entering the concentrator. Based on the principle that oil floats on water, even a minimum quantity of water can be easily removed. At the same time, the lighter, floating oil is removed from the top.
The concentrators are available in half-gallon, gallon and five-gallon models.
