As World Maritime Day approaches, the Singapore Shipping Association raises the curtain on its 2013 Conference and Exhibition. The keynote speaker to the conference, held September 26-27, Singapore’s High Commissioner to Malaysia, and former ASEAN Secretary General, Mr Ong Keng Yong, will provide an insight into the aims and objectives of establishing an ASEAN Economic Community by 2015 and he will give his latest assessment of the progress that has been made towards achieving this goal.
