To mark the 150th anniversary of the Foundation Det Norske Veritas (DNV) and the one year anniversary of its merger with Germanischer Lloyd (GL), DNV GL says events attended by dignitaries, government officials and customers have been held in Oslo. Over 1000 guests gathered in Oslo to celebrate DNV’s 150th anniversary and DNV GL’s first year as a merged company. The event started at the Oslo Opera House, followed by an evening dinner at DNV GL’s headquarters in Høvik. The event was opened by Henrik O. Madsen, President & CEO of the DNV GL Group. “Today we celebrate, but it is also a moment to reflect and thank our partners and friends all over the world, who have been on the long journey together with us.
