Mediterranean Shipping Company Announces New Carribean Service

Mediterranean Shipping Company (USA) Inc. (MSC)has commenced a new weekly service in the Caribbean with the sailing of the MSC CARIBS out of Miami, Florida to Freeport, Bahamas. The company is serving Rio Haina, Dominican Republic, Kingston, Jamaica and Port au Prince, Haiti on a dedicated weekly basis via Freeport. The MSC vessel, MSC Bahamas, will be used in rotation linking Miami and Freeport with these three Caribbean destinations. The company is also doing a second loop that will serve the Eastern Caribbean i.e. Trinidad & Tobago, Barbados, St. Lucia, Guyana and Suriname. “By commencing our own dedicated service to the Caribbean, MSC can best serve the needs of those who rely upon Miami connections to this important region,” said Nicola Arena, president of MSC (USA) Inc.
