The Australian Maritime Safety Authority (AMSA) made an announcement inviting input from potential service providers into the research phase of its Search and Rescue (SAR) Equipment Support Services Tender. AMSA outsources all SAR logistics, maintenance and training support services to a contractor, and its current contract will expire in 2015.
