In spite of the global economic downturn of 2010, builders in Eastern Malaysia such as Shin Yang Shipyard maintained a steady output in 2010. The anchor handling tug Danem 19 was launched from the Shin Yang Shipyard for the Shin Yang Shipping Corporation as one of several vessels added to the fleet in 2010.
