Marine interior contractor, James P. Colie & Associates, announced it is near completion of interior refurbishment work on Sovereign of the Seas for Royal Caribbean International. The dry-dock was May 3 - May 21, 1999 at Atlantic Marine in Mobile, Ala. A crew of 100 from James P. Colie & Associates replaced the interiors of the Windjammer Café, 15 public restrooms, Ship Shape Center and the stair landings from Deck 4 to Deck 12. In the Windjammer Café, structural modifications were made to enclose the 8,000-sq.-ft. outdoor dining area, install new automatic sliding doors and new aft entrances from the pool deck.
