BMT Surveys Expands Into Switzerland

BMT Surveys (BMT), a subsidiary of BMT Group Ltd, an international design, engineering and risk management consultancy, has announced the opening of a new office in Geneva, to support its rapid expansion across Europe. BMT Expands Into Central London

BMT Group opened of a new central London office to support its rapid growth. ClassNK Receives Expanded Authorization from U.S. Coast Guard

The world’s largest classification society ClassNK announced that it was granted expanded authorization from the United States Coast Guard (USCG) on 25 December 2012, and will now be able to carry out a full range of surveys for the SOLAS, MARPOL and AFS conventions, as well as ISM Audits on behalf of the United States flag administration. ClassNK Chairman and President Noboru Ueda has announced that on 1 October 2012, 3 new overseas survey offices have opened, bringing the total number of ClassNK’s overseas survey offices over the milestone of a 100 locations. With the establishment of 3 new survey offices, ClassNK’s survey network will be ever more extended, allowing a faster dispatching of surveyors that will result in providing a better service to clients.
