Times Navigation, Inc. has selected Ecochlor, Inc. to provide ballast water treatment systems (BWTS) for installation on a fleet of eight new CROWN63 (63,500 DWT) ultra-max bulk carriers that will be constructed at SINOPACIFIC Shipbuilding Group. Ecochlor’s President, Tom Perlich, said, “We are very pleased to be working with Times Navigation and their advisors, United Naval Architects Ltd. (UNA).
