Kalmar is helping the Dutch company Ter Haak Group to improve the sustainability of its operations with the delivery of three Kalmar Eco Reachstackers, one Kalmar Gloria Reachstacker and three Empty Container Handlers to its Container Stevedoring IJmuiden (CSY) - Haringhaven and Container Service Amsterdam (CSA)  terminals.The provider of cargo handling solutions and services to ports and terminals said in a press release that all machines are covered with a Kalmar Care service contract."The order was booked in Cargotec's Q4 2018 order intake and the delivery took place in February 2019," Kalmar, part of Cargotec, said.Sustainability is high on Ter Haak Group's agenda…

OT Africa Line (OTAL ) is to move its port operations in Amsterdam from the Ceres Amsterdam Marine Terminal to the USA Terminal, a new deep sea terminal and multimodal distribution center operated by United Stevedores Amsterdam (USA). As of September 2002, OTAL vessels will call at the USA Terminal, which is located in the Amerikahaven within Amsterdam Westpoort. Vessels on both OTAL's weekly container service and weekly RoRo service will call at the USA Terminal every seven days en route to West Africa. The first OTAL vessel to call will be Rokia (337) on September 2,2002.
