Floridian Natural Gas Storage Company (FGS) has filed an application with the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission to build and operate a liquefied natural gas (LNG) storage facility in Martin County, Fla. The facility would be located on approximately 145 acres at the site of the former Florida Steel manufacturing facility about two miles (3 km) north of Indiantown.
