J. Ray McDermott Selects Proliance Software

May 23, 2006

Meridian Systems, a provider of enterprise project management software for optimizing capital projects, programs and facilities, announced that J. Ray McDermott (J. Ray) has selected Proliance software for global project management.

J. Ray selected Proliance as part of its new cost management initiative to drive enhanced project execution, centralize project information, and to support standardization across multiple regions. Proliance will serve as the cost management system for project controls staff, providing complete visibility into project financials and supporting global compliance requirements. Proliance will be rolled out globally, with initial phases taking place in the Dubai and Singapore regions.

The Proliance budget and cost management capabilities will streamline project execution, enabling J. Ray's project controls team to be more efficient. The Proliance Anticipated Cost Report (ACR) functionality provides project teams with deep dive and roll up views into cost data, making it easy to analyze projects and to fully understand project status.

Proliance also supports J. Ray's requirement to standardize the company on one work breakdown structure (WBS). This capability allows Proliance to become the hub for all information within Project Controls.

Proliance software combines project and portfolio management functionality, facilities management, business process management and business analytics, on a scalable enterprise technology platform, providing one system of record for managing all capital projects, programs and facilities.
