McDonough Marine Service was contracted to provide tug and barge for project cargo transport in Suriname.

The tow arrived on location for the barging of vessels and modules from shipside to a refinery near Paramaribo, Suriname. The refinery is upgrading modularized plant components with cargo fabrication originating from various ports around the world. The refinery will be built along the SurinameRiver using one of McDonoughMarine’s project cargo barges and an offshore tug.

McDonough Marine Service expects to complete the project by late August 2013 when all cargo is delivered.
