SCC to Meet

March 1, 2004

The Shipping Coordinating Committee, sponsored by the U.S. Department of State, will meet in Washington, DC on March 23, 2004 to prepare for the upcoming meeting of the IMO Marine Environment Protection Committee (MEPC). Items on the agenda include harmful aquatic organisms in ballast water; recycling of ships; prevention of air pollution from ships; and anti-fouling systems. 69 Fed. Reg. 9675 (HK Law)
