Multiport Extends Network with New Members

Seven new members have joined Multiport, extending its network of independent ship agents. This latest expansion means the network now has representatives in over 110 countries. The seven new members are: ScanWeco AS of Norway, TeRo Ltd of Georgia, Thocomar Gambia of Gambia, Presersa of Guatamala, Somarig of French Guiana, Ets Fauzi J Ghandour of Lebanon, Reginald Villard of Haiti. "The level of interest being shown by agents to become members of Multiport is indicative of the importance of belonging to a network that is recognised for providing high-quality, approved ship agents," says Peter Titchener, secretary-general of Multiport. "With the arrival of these seven new members, the Multiport network is now reaching more countries than ever. Our members deal with more than 3,000 different principals and handle more than 70,000 ships per annum, making Multiport the largest network of independent ship agents in the world."
