Fairplay and Multraship Join Forces

Dutch towage and salvage specialist Multraship and Hamburg-based Fairplay Towage have joined forces to create a platform for expansion.
Under the agreement , the Dutch arm of the Fairplay group, will take a 50 percent shareholding in Muller Maritime Holding, the holding company for Multraship. The two companies joined forces in order to strengthen their strategic position and intend to expand their activities jointly.
Under the agreement Multraship will continue to be managed by the existing family board and management. Expansion of the office staff and tug crews is anticipated as the company takes delivery of new vessels and expands into new markets.
