Nautronix Sign Contract for Vessel Controls Systems

Nautronix has signed a multi-million dollar contract with Keppel FELS Limited in Singapore for the supply of systems for their new construction for ENSCO International Incorporated. The ENSCO 8500 is an ultra-deepwater semi-submersible drilling rig. The scope of supply includes Nautronix NMS6000 multi-station Class 2 Dynamic Positioning (DP) System, Thruster Controls, Vessel Management System as well as associated environmental and position reference sensors. Nautronix will also supply their Dual NASDrill RS925 multi- hydrophone LBL / SBL Acoustic Positioning System. Delivery of equipment will be for the end of 2006 with commissioning due in 2007. The Nautronix NASDrill RS925 is a Deepwater Acoustic Positioning System that has been developed to provide a dependable acoustic DP sensor for ultra deep water positioning. (Source: OilOnline.com)
