Mische Appointed as VP, Alliance Navigation

Robert W. Mische, formerly General Manager Logistics, Höegh Autoliners Inc., has been appointed Vice President, Alliance Navigation LLC responsible for the carriage of U.S. government impelled cargo. Mische joined Autoliners Inc. in July 1976. Since then he has served in various positions of increasing management responsibility, with a particular career focus on forecasting, quality, pricing, customer service, project management, and trade development during the course of his 30 years with the organization. He received his Bachelor of Arts degree from the State University of New York (SUNY) at Stony Brook in 1995. Mische spearheaded Höegh Autoliners Inc.’s Quality initiative with Ford as Q1 Champion, which led to the company’s Q1 certification and contributed to the company’s ISO certification as part of the same Quality process within the organization. In 1999, Mische was promoted to General Manager Logistics with responsibilities for Pricing, Customer Service and Traffic, overseeing roughly half of the 56 employees in offices in New York (Jericho), Baltimore, Jacksonville and Chicago.
