EC Debuts Inland Waterways Observatory

The European Commission (EC) inaugurated its Inland Waterways Observatory. The Internet site is intended to enhance utilization of the European inland waterways. It discusses such issues as the market, the Trans-European transport network, relevant legislation, the available inland fleet, and research projects.
