RCL Hires Former FBI Official

Royal Caribbean Cruises has hired a former top FBI official. Gary M. Bald, who last week stepped down as executive assistant director of the FBI's National Security Branch, will carry the title of vice president for global security at Royal Caribbean, a new position.
Bald will report to Chairman and CEO Richard D. Fain. Bald spent nearly 29 years at the FBI, most recently as chief of its worldwide counterterrorism, counterintelligence and intelligence programs, supervising 19,000 employees. He held the FBI's No. 3 post as a leader of the National Security Branch.
