December 10, 2002

Seascan has extended their presence in the overseas market by appointing two new distributors. Radio Holland South Africa is established in the African market and with links to Radio Holland in The Netherlands, who distribute seascan, they are already familiar with the applications and use of this ground discrimination system. With offices in many major ports and links with other outlets, Radio Holland feel that many opportunities exist within the South African fishing fleet. Seascan is now compatible with many active plotting software systems and several other plotter manufacturers are soon to launch interfaces to seascan giving a range of options to the end user. Also recently appointed is Escort Ltd in Poland. As well as having a home fishing fleet Poland is important as a builder of vessels for many other countries. Escort Ltd are now able to provide seascan sales and support to existing vessels and carry out installations on new builds. Escort can of course provide a complete system of echo sounder, ground discrimination and plotter system if required.
