Bernard Schulte Shipmanagement (BSM) has joined the Marine Partnership program run by the Institute of Marine Engineering, Science & Technology (IMarEST).
As a result of the partnership, BSM Superintendents will now be awarded affiliate membership of IMarEST, part of BSM’s commitment to ensure that its highly experienced team remains fully equipped to meet the demands of owners and charterers across a wide range of commercial vessels.
“We are firmly committed to the professional development of our employees and enabling everyone who works for us to thrive within our working environment,” explains Elena Pantazidou, BSM Corporate Director – HR Shore. ”BSM has a program of continuous investment to build a diverse and engaging culture enabling us to attract, develop and retain a highly professional and empowered workforce. This ensures we deliver the best solutions for our customers and thereby sustained business growth for BSM.
“The global partnership established with IMarEST is further testimony to our commitment to the marine industry and, through access to professional qualifications, it will provide benefits to our employees, our company and our customers.”
IMarEST marine partners work closely with the Institute to promote individual professional registration and membership, ongoing professional development, knowledge-sharing, and learning opportunities within their organisations and the wider marine community.
