February 4, 2014

The Philippine Coast Guard in Eastern Visayas assisted three fishermen who drifted towards the shoreline after rough seas battered their boat off Hilongos.

Reports revealed that the three men were onboard a fishing boat that was battered by big waves and strong winds until it drifted towards the shoreline where they were found by the personnel of Coast Guard Sub-Station (CGSS) Hilongos.

CGSS Hilongos delivered necessary assistance to the fishermen before they were brought to the office of the Municipal Risk Reduction Management Council (MRRMC) of Hilongos.
