Visitors to SMM 2014 will be able to find out more about Survitec Group's growing portfolio of products and services for the cruise, ferry, cargo, tanker and offshore shipping markets.

At this year's show Survitec will be highlighting its RFD, SurvitecZodiac, DSB, DBC and Brude Marine Evacuation Systems (MES), Crewsaver lifejackets, Brude telescopic gangways and Brude fast rescue boats like the HD 720.

Survitec will also be promoting its Global Liferaft Hire program, which leverages the largest service network of any liferaft manufacturer in the world. Customers choose between liferaft exchange, hire or a fully managed service. By providing simple and fully customized hire and fixed service agreements, customers opting for Global Liferaft Hire benefit from financial security for ongoing service costs. Underpinning the appeal of exchange hire with Survitec is the opportunity to benefit from extended service intervals. Extended service liferafts (ESR) require servicing every 30 months compared to the standard annual service.

A visual display at SMM will highlight some of the key milestones in the company's history. These include the introduction of the world's first inflatable liferaft in 1932, the first flotation life preserver in 1940, the first submarine escape suit in 1952 and more recently the first MES in 1979, the groundbreaking RFD Marin Ark MES in 1999, the latest 1000 Series helicopter passenger survival suit in 2012 and the group's unique Offshore MES launched in 2014.

Survitec is exhibiting in Hall B5 on Stand 324.
