Ben McInnes, Deputy Harbour Master and Portsmouth Pilot said, “The new software is easy to use and offers amazing capabilities. It is a clear step forward to more safety and efficiency for our daily operation.” The SevenCs solution offers the pilot organization a maximum of freedom in selecting their preferred hardware and sensors. At the same time SevenCs can produce high accurate bathymetric charts (bENC) which allow the pilots to view their detailed survey and sounding data on the same device.

The fully configured units were handed over to the pilots together with a one day on-site training course in Portsmouth.

Bjoern Roehlich, Sales Director of SevenCs, commented, “After successful projects with tailor made products in Australia and Germany where we received the prestigious Safety at Sea Award, we are very happy to welcome Portsmouth Port as our first U.K. client for the new generation of our PPU software.”
