Fugro Survey Limited Presentation To The RNLI Aberdeen

March 18, 2011

In order to reduce its impact on the environment, Fugro Survey Limited has been sending out electronic Christmas cards to its friends across the industry over the last few years.  Not only does this reduce resources of paper and emissions, it also reduces costs.

As a result of the above exercise Fugro Survey Limited was pleased to donate £500 to the Royal National Lifeboat Institute in Aberdeen for the fifth consecutive year.  2011 marks the tenth anniversary of the Severn Class all-weather lifeboat “Bon Accord” which has been launched more than 125 times and rescued or come to the aid of around 70 people.

Eric Robertson, Commercial Manager, Fugro Survey Limited, commented:

“As the nature of our industry demands that we work offshore all year round, in all but the very worst weather conditions, we are very appreciative of the RNLI”.

The RNLI is an independent charity, and does not receive any funding from the UK government.
