Grieg Named New President of the NSA

The Annual General Meeting of the Norwegian Shipowners' Association (NSA) has elected Elisabeth Grieg, the Chief Executive of Grieg International AS, as the Association's new President. Grieg (48) was proposed unanimously by the election committee and succeeds Trygve Seglem of Knutsen OAS Shipping, who has been President for the last two years. Elisabeth Grieg is the first female president of the NSA.
Thor Jørgen Guttormsen of Leif Høegh & Co in Oslo and Stig Remøy of Olympic Shipping AS in Fosnavåg were elected as new vice-presidents, having been NSA Board members for six and four years, respectively.
