Johnson Promoted to Manager at Crowley

Crowley announced that effective March 15, 2006, Barbara Johnson has been promoted to manager of port and terminal operations for Crowley's Gulfport terminal replacing Bob Weist who has been promoted to director, inland operations for the company's Puerto Rico/Caribbean group. In her new position, Johnson will remain domiciled in the Gulfport office and will report to Mike Hopkins, vice president, operations.

Barbara has held numerous positions of increasing responsibility in the company's Gulf operations for the last 27 years. She started with Crowley in Lake Charles as the manager of equipment control and held management positions in Lake Charles and Houston before moving to Gulfport where she has worked for the last two years including living and working through the devastation of Hurricane Katrina. Johnson has a degree in Business Education from McNeese State University.
