Elliott Bay Design Announces Promotions

Elliott Bay Design Group has announced two promotions within the firm. Brian King has been named vice president of engineering and Douglas Wolff has been promoted to vice president of operations. Brian King joined Elliott Bay Design Group in 1988 as the Seattle-based firm's Chief Marine Engineer. In the role of vice president, King will oversee and manage the firm's engineering and technical resources, ensuring superior quality and technical excellence. He is a licensed Professional Engineer in Mechanical Engineering and Naval Architecture in the states of Washington and Oregon and is a certified U. S. Coast Guard Chief Engineer of Motor and Gas Turbine Ships, Unrestricted, as well as a U. S. Coast Guard Third Assistant Engineer Steam Vessels, Unrestricted. Douglas M. Wolff joined Elliott Bay Design Group in 1992 as the firm's Chief Naval Architect. With the added responsibility of vice president, Wolff will oversee the firm's staff of professionals and support personnel and will also head the firm's training program, which includes EBDG's in-house lecture series. Wolff is a licensed Professional Engineer in Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering in the States of Washington and Oregon.
