Dutch shipping company CFL has chosen Pronautas to implement the proven Ku-Band VSAT connectivity solutions on all vessels in their fleet. Headquartered in Amsterdam and well known for its innovative market approach, CFL owns and operates a fleet of young and flexible eco-friendly multi-purpose vessels.

Pronautas was selected to provide the VSAT solution thanks to its experience and competence in connectivity solutions, satellite communications, navigation systems and full service support. The decision for a fleet-wide roll out was made by CFL after a successful three-month trial period.

Together with air-time service operator partner Astrium Services, Pronautas will provide Pharostar connectivity, XChange Box and iDirect modem to track, monitor and control connectivity traffic onboard.

Given the global trading area of all CFL vessels, delivery, installation, and commissioning of the equipment and services will be carried out worldwide. The first two installations onboard new build Sole type vessels Industrial More and Industrial Merchant have been successfully performed at the Peters Shipyards in Kampen, the Netherlands.
