CBP Vessel APIS: Proposed Changes

U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) is in the process of drafting changes to its vessel Advance Passenger Information System (APIS). CBP is working with the U.S. Coast Guard to develop a joint and single vessel transmission format (XML) and method (eNOA/D) that will meet both USCG NOA and CBP APIS requirements. The new provisions should be published in May. (HK Law).
