Gamma Light & Heavy Industries draw attention to their new method of propulsion

The company provides the following information on its web-site:

Comprising a series of diesel electric units, strategically located completely inboard down both sides of the vessel, the Gamma Propulsion System (TGPS), is easy to build and very easy to retro fit to existing ships.

Gamma believe that their TGPS will change the face of marine propulsion forever by delivering:

Gamma states that data collected from controlled testing, and certified by Lloyd’s Register clearly demonstrates that TGPS delivers significant thrust with previously unthinkable efficiency.

The TGPS engineers also worked with the technical staff at the Wet-n-Wild water theme park on Australia’s Gold Coast. Their brief was to develop a more efficient circulating pump for the theme park’s Calypso Beach, where their TGPS pump delivered a 12% increase in performance but only used 2.04 kW, some 10.8 times greater efficiency.

Gamma Light & Heavy Industries says it is currently seeking partners and investors.
